Ingredients Required To Make Drumstick Soup Recipe 

 1 No Of Drumstick
 ½ tsp Butter
 ¼ tsp Black or White Pepper Powder
 ½ tsp Corn Flour
 2 Nos Of Cloves
 1 tsp Garlic Paste
 Required Amount Of Salt And Water

How To Make Drumstick Soup Recipe

Wash and clean a fresh drumstick and scrape the skin off and chop them into long pieces. Heat a saucepan and tip in half a teaspoon of butter and when it melts down, saute the chopped drumstick pieces until fragrant.

Now add these sauteed drumstick pieces in a cup of water and boil it with two pinches of salt for about ten minutes( with a little water) approximately and turn off the stove.

When it cools down, just take each piece and scoop out the pulp and collect it on a plate.

Heat the saucepan again and add just two drops of butter and tip in one or two cloves and then add a teaspoon of garlic paste and keep stirring until fragrant.

Plop the drumstick pulp into the pan and pour in the boiled water (the water used to boil the drumstick pieces) and stir for a while.

Dilute half a teaspoon of corn flour in a small cup and pour it into the suace pan and keep stirring for a minute and add a cup of water.

Sprinkle in a little more salt along with a few pinches of black pepper powder. When it thickens and turns aromatic, just turn off the stove.

Transfer it to a serving bowl and serve it while it is still hot.

Tips And Tricks  Drumstick Soup Recipe 

  • Choose fresh and fleshy drumstick to make the soup so that it has a lot of pulp in it and gives the best result.
  • While boiling drumstick, boil it with a minimal quantity of water so that it retains its original taste.
  • Do not over boil because it may tend to lose its nutrients. Just a little more than par boiling will do.
  • If you want you can blitz the drumstick pulp for one or two pulses in a blender and it is optional.
  • Use a broad (like that of a chef's knife) to scrape the drumstick pulp as it is quick and easy to do in one go.
  • Collect the pulp along with the seeds as it is the tastiest and the nutritious part of the veggie and it gives a crunchy feel in every slurp and makes the soup all the more delectable.
  • To relish the original taste of drumstick do not add any other spices or ingredients to spruce it up.
  • In some regions of the south, they use rice flour instead of corn flour and it tastes equally good and gives the desired consistency of the soup.
