Needed Ingredients To Make Inji Sorasam:

 1 Cup Of Fresh Ginger (finely chopped)
 2 tbsp Cumin Seeds
 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
 2 tsp Powdered Jaggery ( per glass)
 Required Amount Of Water

Step wise Directions to make Effective Inji Sorasam:

Step 1: Get Things Ready

Wash and clean three or four large pieces of ginger and peel off the skin. Chop them into fine pieces and drop it into a measurement cup. Measure one full cup of chopped ginger and keep aside. Take two tablespoons of cumin and coriander seeds each. Similarly, take the measured quantities lemon juice and jaggery powder and keep them ready.

Step 2: Soak The Seeds

Soak cumin and coriander seeds separately with a little water for about fifteen to twenty minutes approximately.

Step 3: Drop The Ginger and Seeds Into A Blender

Drop the chopped ginger into a blender along with the soaked seeds.

Step 4: Blend Them

Blitz them for five to six pulses in the blender and make a smooth paste out of it.

Step 5: Drop The Mixture In A Filter

Drop the blended paste into a tea filter and place it over a bowl.

STep 6: Strain It

Strain the blended paste by adding a cup of water little by little using a spoon. Collect the juice in a bowl and keep aside.

Step 7: Allow The Sediment To Settle

Leave the bowl undisturbed for a while.(for about fifteen to twenty minutes approximately). After some time, transfer the juice to another bowl just leaving the residue to just remain at the bottom.

Step 8: Dilute The Drink And Add Flavors

Take a quarter cup (or even less than that) and dilute it with half a cup of water and strew in a teaspoon of powdered jaggery and lemon juice and mix well using a spoon. Drink it slowly sip by sip enjoying its taste and aroma.
Note: You can also replace jaggery with honey and both tastes delicious. I personally like to slurp it with one or two ice cubes.
