 1 No Of Raw Mango
 1 Cup Of Jaggery or Rock candy
 ¼ tsp Grated Ginger
 ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
 ¼ tsp Blackpepper Powder
 ¼ tsp Cumin Powder
 2 Pinches Of Black Salt
 6 Nos Of ice Cubes

Step wise Directions To Make Perfect Aam Panna:

Step 1: Boil The Mango

Boil mango in a wok and when it cools down just peel of the skin and plop in the pulp to a blender along with two or three pinches of black salt.

Add The Spices

Tip in a little cardamom powder, black pepper powder and cumin powder according to your taste and requirement. Also add some grated ginger and some fresh mint leaves. Finally add one cup of jaggery (can adjust the quantity) and blitz for a few pulses. Now the delicious aam panna is ready.

Strain And Serve

Strain the juice using a tea filter and plunk in some ice cubes and serve chill in serving glasses. Garnish with one or two mint leaves and serve it on a sunny afternoon.

  2. You can also add palm sugar and it gives a nice taste too. But as much as possible avoid adding normal white sugar as this is a traditional health drink.
  3. You can also add rock salt instead of black salt and we add these to enhance the flavor and to add up to its benefits though you may also use normal salt.
  4. You can refrigerate aam panna pulp for a week and dilute with cold water whenever necessary.
