 ½ cup Sugar
 1 cup Milk
 2 tsp Ghee
 10 Nos Cashews
 2 tsp Raisins
 4 Nos Dates
 4 Nos Almonds
 5 Nos Cardamom
 1 tsp Condensed milk (optional)
 5 Strands Saffron
 Oil as Required For Frying

To make bread halwa recipe, Cut the edges from the bread so that the brown crumbs are removed from the bread. Then slice them into long pieces.

Boil the milk and keep it aside.

Heat a pan and pour a table spoon of ghee and melt it.

Roast the almonds, raisins and the cashews in hot ghee and fry till golden brown and keep it aside. Similarly, deep fry the bread slices with some oil.

Drop in the cardamom into the blender and powder it well along with a little sugar.

Place a thick bottomed saucepan over the stove and switch it on. Keep the flame in high mode.
