Ingredients Required To Make Pan Pizza Recipe

For The Pizza Dough
 1 Cup Of Maida Flour
 1 tsp Baking Powder
 1 tsp Baking Soda
 2 tsp Sugar
 ¼ tsp Salt
 ¼ Cup Of Milk
 2 tbsp Cooking oil
For The Toppings
 2 Cubes Of Mozzarella Cheese
 1 No Of Onion (diced)
 ½ No Of Capsicum (diced)
 1 No Of Tomato (diced)
 3 No Of Olives (chopped)
For The Pizza Sauce
 3 tsp Tomato Ketch Up
 2 tsp Red Chilli flakes
 ½ tsp Salt
 ½ tsp Oregano
 ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
 ½ tsp Garlic (minced)

How To Make Pan Pizza Recipe

Make The Pizza Dough

Take a large bowl and add a cup of maida flour to it.

Tip in a teaspoon of baking soda and baking powder each.

Then sprinkle in two teaspoons of sugar with a little salt.

Just pour in a quarter cup of milk and mix everything well using a hand blender.

Splash in a little water and start kneading the dough while sprinkling some cooking oil in between.

Knead gently for a few minutes and make soft and smooth dough out of it.

Rub a little oil over the kneaded dough and cover the vessel with a polythene sheet and tuck it intact all all sides and set aside in a corner.

Let it rest for about half an hour approximately.

After a while, you can see the raised dough through the polythene.

Just remove the sheet and knead the dough again gently for a minute or two.

Just divide the dough into two portions and make small balls out of it, approximately in the size of a small orange.

Just place a ball over the marble roti chakla and roll it gently with the wooden rolling pin while dusting the dough with maida flour in between.

Roll it thick as it should hold all the toppings of pizza.

Once you have rolled it, just poke the entire pizza base dough with a fork.

Just flip the dough to the other side, and poke the other side too.

Heat a large saucepan and just srpinkle a little oil and just place the rolled dough on the saucepan and keep it in medium flame.

Just press it with your fingers all around the edges to create a dent evenly.

Poke it with a fork once again all over.

Now take a tablespoon of pizza sauce and apply all over the dough.

Ensure that it has spread evenly.

Now sprinkle some diced onion and tomatoes over it.

Toss over some diced capsicum pieces along with some chopped olives.

Finally tip in a lavish spread of grated cheese and lower the flame.

Tips And Tricks To Make Pan Pizza Recipe

  • While making the pizza dough just knead it gently throughout or else it may turn out to be hard.
  • You can also cover the bowl with foil instead of polythene wrap.
  • When you roll the base dough neither make it too thick nor too thin. Let it be slightly thicker than that of a regular naan.
  • Do not forget to poke it on both the sides with a fork.
  • You can also add jalapenos if you have and you can use some organic herbs for toppings which you get it in stores.
  • You can make pizza bases in large numbers and can wrap it up in foil sheets and store in you pantry for a few days.
  • Similarly, you can store the home made pizza sauce in the refrigerator and use for a week approximately.
  • you can mix up red, yellow and green capsicum and make your pizza colorful and attractive.
