 1 Cup Of Milk
 1 tsp Sugar
 1 Pinch Of Saffron Strands
 1 Pinch Of Cardamom Powder
 1.50 tsp Tea Powder

How To Make Zafrani Chai Recipe

Step 1: Boil The Milk And Add The Aromatic Agents

Take a kettle and pour in a cup of milk and allow it to boil. While boiling, just add a teaspoon of sugar along with a little cardamom powder with a nice stir. After a minute or two just tip in a few strands of saffron and alter the flame to low mode. Let it boil for two to three minutes approximately.

Step 2: Make The Tea

Now add one and a half teaspoons of tea powder and gently change the flame to medium high mode. When it comes to a boil, just turn off the flame and filter it. Transfer it to a tea mug and serve hot with one or two saffron strands on top.

Tips and tricks to make a perfect cup of zafrani chai :

  • Soak the saffron strands in a quarter cup of boiling water beforehand so that you get the full essence of it when you make the chai.
  • Use cardamom minimally so that its flavor does not predominate the aroma of saffron.
