 500 g Bone-in Chicken
 3 Finely Chopped Oinions
 3 Finely Chopped Tomatoes
 10 cloves Garlic
 2 inches Ginger
 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
 2 tsp Coriander Powder
 1 tsp Curry Powder
 1 tsp Cumin Powder
 1 tsp Pepper Powder
 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
 1 cup Yoghurt or Curd
 1 cup Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
 ½ tsp Garam Masala
 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
 Salt as Required
 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
 Water as Required

To make south Indian Chicken Curry recipe, wash and clean the chicken and cut it into even size pieces and smear it with a little salt and keep aside.

Heat a kadai or a pan and pour some cooking oil into it.once it is heated, partially cook the chicken pieces until dark brown.

Transfer the pieces into a plate and keep it aside.

Place another pan and pour a little oil and once it is heated, saute it with finely chopped onion, ginger, garlic and stir it till it becomes translucent.

Now add the chilli powder, coriander powder, curry powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder with a little water and mix it well.

Add the tomatoes, yoghurt and the finely chopped coriander leaves and the required salt to it.

Put the cooked chicken pieces to the mixture and stir it continuously for
five minutes while adding a little water to it.

Let it boil and add a pinch of garam masala to it and close the lid and simmer the flame ad let it cook for 10-12 minutes.

When the chicken is completely cooked, you get a nice aroma out of it and you can switch off the stove.

Now the chicken curry is ready to eat and serve it hot with raw or boiled rice. squeeze a lemon to the chicken curry just before serving.
