 2 Fresh or Leftover Idlis
 3 tsp Idli Podi
 2 tsp Ghee / Sesame Oil
 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
 1 Pinch Hing / Asafoetida
 1 Sprig Curry Leaves

Preliminary Steps To Make Podi Idli Recipe

To make Podi Idli recipe, Take 2 idlis and cut it into big cubes of equal size and shape.

Put it in a bowl and sprinkle 2 or three tea spoons of idli podi over it.

Place a pan in the stove and pour two tea spoons of ghee or sesame oil in it and heat it in high flame.

Once it is heated, add a tea spoon of mustard seeds to it.

Once it splutters, add a pinch of hing and a few curry leaves to it.

After it splutters completely, switch off the stove and transfer the tempered ingredients to the idli bowl and mix everything well.

Mix it so nicely that the tempered idli podi is spread evenly all over. Now the podi idli is ready.
