How To Make Mushroom Soup
To make mushroom soup, place a thick bottomed pan in the stove and keep it in medium flame.
When it melts, drop the bay leaf in the pan and fry till golden brown.
Then add the finely chopped onion and crushed garlic in it and stir well.
Keep frying till the onion becomes translucent and the smell of garlic comes out.
Add the mushrooms to the pan and stir well till the water evaporates Keep frying till becomes golden brown.
Now, mix the measured quantity of corn flour in a little water without lumps and pour it into the pan.
Let it get cooked till the raw smell of the flour gets vanished.
After one or two minutes, sprinkle the grounded pepper over it and stir well.
Add a cup of milk into the pan and just dilute it with half a cup of water.
At this stage, add the required salt and now the soup will start thickening.
Simmer the flame now and keep stirring.
Let it cook for 4- 5 minutes till you get the desired consistency.
At last, sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg powder and give a gentle stir.
As a finishing touch, add the measured quantity of fresh cream and garnish it with coriander leaves or parsley leaves over it and switch off the stove.
Now the mushroom soup is ready and serve it while it is steaming hot.
