Masala Tea Recipe

Masala tea originated from the Indian subcontinent and from there it slowly spread to other countries. Masala Tea Recipe is a beverage made by brewing tea leaves with milk and other spices like cardamom, ginger and cinnamon.

 2 tbsp Tea leaves or Tea dust
 1 cup Milk
 ½ cup Water
 1 Nos Powdered Cardamom
 1 small piece Ginger ( Raw or Dried)
 1 Nos Clove
 1 Nos Cinnamon
 1 tsp Sugar
 2 Petals Mint Leaves
 1 pinch Black Pepper Powder

How to make Masala Tea Recipe

Place a teapot in the stove and pour a cup of water.

Once it is heated, put a tsp of tea leaves or tea dust and let it boil for a minute.

Now add the above mentioned spices one by one and you will slowly get a nice smell out of it.

Finally add a cup of milk and let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Add a spoon of sugar.

After it is boiled completely, switch off the stove.

Place a strainer over a tea mug and strain it completely.

Now the masala chai is ready to drink. Serve it hot with biscuits or pakoras.
