Sandwiches are the lucrative choice of modern mothers as they have to cater to the taste and expectation of their growing kids. There are innumerable varieties of sandwiches and one such popular one is this Paneer sandwich recipe which is colourful and delicious as well.

An Easy Paneer Sandwich Recipe :

Nowadays people have become keen in keeping fit and they opt for a healthy and quick breakfast and try out new recipes. Paneer sandwich recipe is one among them which is not only palatable but also nutritious. In the fast pace life, people just dive into foods that can be made quick and easy. Mothers take effort to try different recipes for lunchboxes and this paneer sandwich gains their attention instantly.

It just gives a slight deviation from the traditional Indian breakfast like aaloo poha, paratha, idli, dosa and upma. It is one of the favourite dishes for the kids and youngsters as well.

Another interesting fact about the paneer sandwich is that it can be improvised in whatever way you want according to your own taste and creativity. You can spice it up in whatever way you want. You can either make it plain with a green chutney and a schezwan sauce or you can make it colourful by adding some veggies in it.

You can surprise your kid by adding his/her favourite vegetable or cheese slice in the sandwich in order to make it more interesting to eat. For example, if I prepare for my child, I would ensure to add a few strips of baby corn as it is his most favourite item. Similarly, you can add any item that goes well with bread and paneer. Here, I have given you my mom`s basic method of preparing the recipe.

Ingredients Required To Make Paneer Sandwich Recipe :

 Sandwich Bread
 1 Pack Paneer
 1 Bunch Mint or Pudina Leaves
 2 Nos Green Chilli
 5 Nos Red Chilli
 1 tsp Curd
 1 tsp Chiili powder
 1 tsp Garam Masala
 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
 ½ tsp Pepper Powder
 ¼ Capsicum
 ¼ Onion
 Salt as required
 Butter as required
 5 tsp Oil

How To Make Paneer Sandwich Recipe

Prelimnary steps to make paneer sandwich recipe

To make paneer Sandwich, either prepare paneer at home or you can buy from stores. Check out my note on how to make paneer at home.

Place a pan or kadai and keep it in medium flame for 2 mins

Once it is heated, pour the oil on it and add onions and onion.

After 2 mins add garam masala, chilli powder, pepper powder, kasuri methi.

Saute it for 2 mins and add a little bit of water if it looks too dry.

Now add the crushed paneer to the kadai and keep sauting for 2 mins and turn off the stove

To Prepare Green Chutney for Paneer Sandwich Recipe

Take Green chilli, mint leaves, coriander leaves in the mixer, add some water and blend it to a thick paste

To Make The Paneer Sandwich

Take a slice of sandwich bread and apply a layer of softened butter with a butter knife, on both the sides and first apply a thin layer of green chutney on one side and fill it up with a spoon full of paneer masala.

Likewise, take another bread and apply the butter lavishly on both the sides.

Here, you apply the green chutney on one side and now place it over the paneer filled bread.

Toast it in a grill toaster for 2- 3 minutes to get a crispy, stripped paneer sandwich with an irresistible smell of butter.

Or else, you can simply toast it in a hand toaster in the gas stove. Here you first do the toast on one side, and then after a minute or two turn to the other side of the toaster and repeat the same process again.

Here you get an awesome aromatic paneer sandwich with an attractive color.

You can serve the sandwich with tomato ketchup, mayonnaise or chilli sauce which sounds great for an evening snack.
