How To Make Chicken Korma Recipe
To make chicken korma, Clean the chicken thoroughly and then cut it into small pieces and put it in a broad vessel.
Add the measured quantity of curd or yoghurt, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste and a little salt to it and mix up well.
Close it with a lid and let it marinate for a few hours.
To make chicken korma, switch on the stove and heat a pan (preferably a thick bottomed one) and add a little oil to it.
Once it is heated, put the diced onions and a cardamom and fry it till you get the aroma of cooked onions
Similarly add the cashews and almonds and roast it nicely.
Switch off the stove and let it cool for sometime.
Transfer everything to a blender and grind it along with a cup of curd or yoghurt.
Now the paste for chicken korma is ready to make chicken korma.
To make chicken korma, Heat the same pan again and put 2 tbsp of cooking oil in it
Saute it with a cardamom, bay leaf, cinnamon, clove and green chilli.
Now add the marinated chicken and mix slowly and set the flame into medium mode.
Let it cook until the raw smell of the chicken goes away.
Now add the onion paste and add the required quantity of water and stir well.
Slowly add the measured quantity of chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and garam masala one by one.
Close the pan with a lid after adding a little water
Let it cook until the chicken becomes soft and tender.
Now and then open the lid and give a stir.
Cook till you get a thick consistency and a nice aroma.
Now the chicken korma is ready and you can switch off the stove.
Sprinkle some finely chopped coriander leaves, Roasted Cashews over it and serve it hot with rice, roti or idli, dosa.
