 4 Nos Of Carrots ( fresh&grated )
 2 tbsp Split Moong Dal
 2 Nos Of Green Chilli (split)
 1 Sprig Of Curry Leaves
 1 tsp Mustard seeds
 1 Pinch Of Turmeric Powder
 ¼ Cup Of Grated Coconut
 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
 1 tsp Cooking Oil
 Required Amount Of Salt
 ½ tsp Fresh Ginger (grated)
 1 Pinch Of Asafoeida Powder
Soak The Moong Dal

Take two tablespoons of split moong dal in a bowl and pour a cup of hot water and let it soak for about fifteen minutes approximately.

Do The Tempering

Heat a small pan and squirt in a teaspoon of cooking oil and when it is heated tip in a teaspoon of mustard seeds into it.

When it splutters, drop in two slit green chillies along with a sprig of curry leaves.

Let it sizzle too. Now add the grated ginger and stir in with a pinch of turmeric powder and asafoetida powder each and finally plop in the soaked moon dal into the pan and let it cook for a minute or two.

Now add these tempered ingredients to a bowl and add the grated carrots into it along with the required salt.

Toss over the grated coconut and stir in.

At last, stir in with a dash of lemon and garnish with some lush green coriander leaves.
