To make bread halwa recipe, Cut the edges from the bread so that the brown crumbs are removed from the bread. Then slice them into long pieces.

Boil the milk and keep it aside.

Heat a pan and pour a table spoon of ghee and melt it.

Roast the almonds, raisins and the cashews in hot ghee and fry till golden brown and keep it aside. Similarly, deep fry the bread slices with some oil.

Drop in the cardamom into the blender and powder it well along with a little sugar.

Place a thick bottomed saucepan over the stove and switch it on. Keep the flame in high mode.

Once the pan is heated, pour in two teaspoons
of ghee adjust the flame to medium mode.

Add the fried bread crumbs into the saucepan one by one and stir in till it turns aromatic.

Now tip in half a cup of sugar and stir well.

At this stage, splash in the measured quantity of milk in the saucepan and mix it up well.

Now, open the lid and pour the remaining ghee along with a teaspoon of condensed milk and stir in. Finally sprinkle a tea spoon of cardamom powder and add the roasted dry fruits in it. In a minute or two, you will notice the oil sizzle at the corners of the saucepan and the flavor of halwa coming out.
