Bamboo Rice Dosa / Moongil Arisi Dosa

 ½ Cup of Bamboo Rice / Moongil Arisi
 ¼ Cup of Raw Rice
 2 tbsp Urad Dal
 ½ tsp Methi Seeds
 Required Amount Of Salt And Water
 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
Soak And Grind The Bamboo Rice

Take the measured quantities of Bamboo rice, boiled rice, urad dal and methi seeds in a vessel and wash it twice and soak it for eight hours or overnight.

In the morning, rinse it again and add it to a blender and splash in a little water and blend it to a smooth batter.

Transfer it to a bowl and add the required salt and mix well and let it ferment for about eight to ten hours approximately. Add some finely chopped onion and green chilies and stir in the batter.

Place a cast iron tava in the stove and turn on the flame.

When it is heated, take a ladle full of batter and apply it in circular motion in the tawa and smear a quarter teaspoon of sesame oil around it and pop the lid on for a minute and let it cook in medium flame.

After a few seconds when the top portion gets cooked up, just flip the dosa to the other side and add a little more oil.

When it turns light brown and crispy take it out and place it over a plate.

Now the aromatic Bamboo Rice dosa is ready to eat. Serve it hot with shallots smabhar, onion chutney and Idli podi.
