For The Dough:

Wheat Flour: A cup of wheat flour to make the dough.

Ghee:               Just a teaspoon of ghee to knead the dough.

Salt:                 A pinch of salt to add taste.

Water:             Enough water to knead the dough.

For The Filling:

Ash Gourd:    A cup of freshly grated ash gourd to make the base for filling.

Groundnut Oil: Just a teaspoon of oil to temper the spices.

Cumin Seeds: A teaspoon of cumin seeds to temper the ingredients.

Spice Powders: Red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder to spruce up the filling.

To Make the Paratha:

Ghee: Enough ghee to roast up the ash gourd parathas.

For The Dough
 1 Cup Of Wheat Flour
 1 tsp Ghee
 Two Pinches Of Salt

 1 tsp Groundnut Oil
 ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
 ¼ tsp Red Chili Powder
 ¼ tsp Coriander Powder
 ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
 ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
For The Roti
 4 tbsp Groundnut Oil
 1 tbsp Ghee

Step wise Instructions To Make Perfect Ash Gourd Parathas:

Step 1: Add water and salt to a cup of wheat flour and make a smooth dough.

Step 2: Heat a pan and temper with oil and cumin seeds and saute the grated ash gourd with spice powders with salt.

Step 3: Fill each paratha with this ash gourd stuffing and knead into a thick paratha base.

Step 4: Heat a tawa and make the parathas with a lavish spread of ghee and roast both the sides.

Add a cup of wheat flour in a bowl and tip in a little salt. Splash in 3/4 cup of water and make a smooth dough. Knead further with a teaspoon of ghee for a minute or two and close the bowl with a damp muslin cloth. Meanwhile, make the stuffing for it.

Heat a tawa and topple up a stuffed roti base and smear a teaspoon of oil around it and let the flame be in medium mode. Just after a minute or so, flip up the roti to the other side and dab a little more oil. Similarly, make the other rotis and just stipple a little ghee over every white pumpkin roti and place it in a roti box.
