Dwell In the delightful sensation of mooli ki kabab with its harmonious blend of earthy radish, aromatic spices, and a crispy texture, offering a flavorful, guilt-free, and satisfying vegetarian delight.
Grate the radish and then squeeze it tightly to remove excess water. You can use a clean cloth or paper towel to squeeze and dry it under fan for about five to ten minutes approximately. Excess moisture in the radish can make the kababs too soft.
In a mixing bowl, combine the grated radish, paneer, finely chopped onions, green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, chickpea flour (besan), ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix everything well to form a uniform mixture. The chickpea flour helps bind the mixture together.
Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for about 5 minutes.
While the air fryer is preheating, shape the mixture into small round or oval kababs. You can grease your hands with a little oil to prevent sticking.
Place the shaped kababs in the preheated air fryer basket, leaving some space between them. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Brush the kababs with a little oil on both sides. This will give the mooli kababs a nice crispy texture.
Air fry the mooli ke kabab at 360°F (180°C) for 5-8 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
Once they are done, remove the kababs from the air fryer and garnish with some chopped cilantro, grated mooli and a dash of lemon. Serve it with your favorite chutney or dip. Enjoy your air-fried mooli ke kabab as a healthy and tasty snack or appetizer. You can customize the level of spiciness and seasoning to suit your taste preferences.
